House Rules
Football
- For the purposes of grading picks, games are considered complete after a minimum of 55 minutes of playing time. Picks for games ending earlier will be voided.
- All picks include Overtime unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- If the date and time of a game change by more than 7 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this game will be voided. If the date and time change by 7 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Picks will not be voided if the location of the game changes.
- Picks for an individual quarter or half are based on the number of points scored in that quarter or half, not the score of the game at the end of said quarter or half.
- Picks for an individual quarter or half will be voided if that quarter or half is not played to completion. If the game is suspended, postponed, or canceled while in progress and not resumed within 24 hours of the start time, picks for an individual quarter or half that was not completed will be voided. Picks for an individual quarter or half that has completed, even if the game itself falls into the situation described in the last sentence, will not be voided.
- Points scored in overtime do not count toward picks for any individual quarter or half.
- Player-specific picks will be voided if the associated player is not Active at the start of the game. Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player starts the game as Active and becomes any status other than Active at any point during the game.
- Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player is ejected or disqualified after the start of the game.
Basketball
- For the purposes of grading picks, pro games are considered complete after a minimum of 42 minutes of playing time. Picks for games ending earlier will be voided.
- For the purposes of grading picks, college games are considered complete after a minimum of 35 minutes of playing time. Picks for games ending earlier will be voided.
- All picks include Overtime unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- If the date and time of a game change by more than 7 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this game will be voided. If the date and time change by 7 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Picks will not be voided if the location of the game changes.
- Picks for an individual quarter or half are based on the number of points scored in that quarter or half, not the score of the game at the end of said quarter or half.
- Picks for an individual quarter or half will be voided if that quarter or half is not played to completion. - Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player fouls out of the game.
Baseball
- For the purposes of grading picks, games are considered complete after a minimum of 9 innings of play (or 8.5 innings if the home team is leading). Picks for games ending earlier, even if considered "official" by the league, will be voided.
- All picks include Extra Innings unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- If the start time of a game changes by more than 12 hours relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this game will be voided. If the time changes by 12 or fewer hours, picks will not be voided.
- If, after the first pitch has been thrown, the completion of a game is postponed more than 12 hours, picks for the game will be voided.
- Picks will not be voided if the location of the game changes.
- Picks will not be voided if the starting pitcher of either team changes from the announced probable starter.
- Picks for an individual inning or group of innings are based on the number of runs scored in that inning or group of innings, not the score of the game at the end of said inning or group of innings.
- Picks for an individual inning or group of innings will be voided if that inning or group of innings is not played to completion. If the game is suspended, postponed, or canceled while in progress and not resumed within 24 hours of the start time, picks for an individual inning or group of innings that were not completed will be voided. Picks for an individual inning or group of innings that have completed, even if the game itself falls into the situation described in the last sentence, will not be voided.
- Player-specific picks will be voided if the associated player does not begin at least one at-bat or throw one pitch in the game. Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player meets the criteria in the last sentence but leaves the game for any reason.
- Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player is ejected or disqualified after the start of the game.
Hockey
- For the purposes of grading picks, games are considered complete after a minimum of 55 minutes of playing time. Picks for games ending earlier will be voided.
- All picks include Overtime unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- If there is a shootout, the team winning the shootout is awarded 1 goal for the purposes of determining the winner of the game, the goal spread, and the total.
- If the date and time of a game change by more than 7 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this game will be voided. If the date and time change by 7 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Picks will not be voided if the location of the game changes.
- Picks for an individual period or group of periods are based on the number of goals scored in that period or group of periods, not the score of the game at the end of said period or group of periods.
- Picks for an individual period or group of periods will be voided if that period or group of periods is not played to completion. If the game is suspended, postponed, or canceled while in progress and not resumed within 24 hours of the start time, picks for an individual period or group of periods that were not completed will be voided. Picks for an individual period or group of periods that have completed, even if the game itself falls into the situation described in the last sentence, will not be voided.
- Points scored in overtime do not count toward picks for any individual period or group of periods unless explicitly stated.
- Player-specific picks will be voided if the associated player does not play or is not listed in the box score of the game. Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player plays a portion of the game and leaves the game for any reason.
- Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player is ejected or disqualified after the start of the game.
- Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player receives a Misconduct penalty after the start of the game.
Soccer
- For the purposes of grading picks, games are considered complete after a minimum of 90 minutes of playing time. Picks for games ending earlier will be voided.
- All picks include Stoppage Time/Injury Time.
- Picks do not include Extra Time or Penalty Shootouts unless a pick is explicitly listed as "to advance" or "to qualify for the next round" or "to win tournament".
- If the date and time of a game change by more than 7 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this game will be voided. If the date and time change by 7 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Picks will not be voided if the location of the game changes.
- Picks for an individual half are based on the number of goals scored in that half, not the score of the game at the end of said half.
- Picks for an individual half will be voided if that half is not played to completion. If the game is suspended, postponed, or canceled while in progress and not resumed within 24 hours of the start time, picks for an individual half that was not completed will be voided. Picks for an individual half that has completed, even if the game itself falls into the situation described in the last sentence, will not be voided.
- Goals scored in Stoppage Time/Injury Time for that half count toward picks for any individual half.
- Goals scored in Extra Time or Penalty Shootouts do not count toward picks for either individual half.
- Player-specific picks will be voided if the associated player does not play in the game. Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player plays in any part of the game and then leaves the game for any reason.
- Player-specific picks will not be voided if the associated player is given a Red Card or is otherwise ejected or disqualified after the start of the game.
Mixed Martial Arts
- For the purposes of grading picks, fights are considered complete if the opening bell/buzzer sounds. Picks for fights canceled before the opening bell/buzzer will be voided.
- For the purposes of grading picks, a round is considered complete if the bell/buzzer for the next round sounds with both fighters still participating. The final round is considred complete if the final bell/buzzer sounds at the end of the fight.
- If the date and time of a fight change by more than 2 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this fight will be voided. If the date and time change by 2 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Picks will not be voided if the location of the fight changes.
- Picks will not be voided if the classification (Championship or not) or weight class of a fight change.
Auto Racing
- For the purposes of grading picks, races and competitions are considered official when the governing body of the race declares a winner, regardless of the number of laps completed.
- Grading of all picks are subject to change based on failed post-race inspections.
- If the date and time of a race or competition change by more than 7 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this race will be voided. If the date and time of a race change by 7 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- If a race begins and then is suspended and resumed on a different date, picks will not be voided.
- Driver-specific picks will be voided if the associated driver does not start the race. Driver-specific picks will not be voided if the driver changes cars, teams, or sponsors.
- Driver-specific picks will not be voided if the associated driver's starting position changes before the race.
- Driver-specific picks include any additional or overtime laps added to the race.
- Driver-specific picks will not be voided if a driver does not finish a race due to a crash or penalty.
- Driver-specific picks will not be voided if a driver starts the race and is replaced with another driver during the race. All points, statistics, prize money, and penalties earned during the race count toward the driver that started the race in the same car, regardless of which driver finishes.
Golf
- For the purposes of grading picks, tournaments are considred official when the governing body of the tournament declares a winner, regardless of the number of holes completed.
- If the date and time of the completion of a tournament change by more than 14 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this tournament will be voided. If the date and time of the completion of a change by 14 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Grading of all picks are subject to change based on post-round disqualifications issued by the governing body of the tournament.
- Picks will not be voided if a player withdraws from a tournament after teeing off in the first round.
- Picks for Top 5/10/20, etc. Finishing Positions will be graded as wins even if the player is tied with other players for their finishing position.
Tennis
- For the purposes of grading picks, matches are considered official if at least one set has been completed and a winner has been declared, regardless of either player's advantage in sets or games won.
- If the date and time of a match change by more than 7 days relative to the originally scheduled start time, picks for this match will be voided. If the date and time of a match change by 7 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- For tournament-based picks, if the date and time of the completion of the tournament changes by more than 14 days relative to the originally scheduled completion date and time, picks for this tournament will be voided. IF the date and time of the completion of the tournament change by 14 or fewer days, picks will not be voided.
- Player-specific picks will be voided if the associated player does not play in the match or Round 1 of the tournament.
- Player-specific picks will be voided if a match ends in a walkover.
- Player-specific picks for individual matches will not be voided if the associated player withdraws from a match after completing at least one set.
- Player-specific picks for tournaments will not be voided if the associated player withdraws after completing at least one set in Round 1 of the tournament.
